A bicycle got stolen. Like thousands do, every day all across the globe. But this one in particular belonged to a young boy who - 15 years later - became an engineer and swore to eradicate bicycle theft and to popularize urban cycling.

The BLOCK concept was born in 2018 in Budapest, Hungary. After succesful demos from Tel-Aviv to Edinburgh the same year, the company was founded in early 2019. Since then, the core team works relentlessly to fulfill their founder’s vision: a worry-free and flawless cycling experience.

In early 2022 BLOCK launched its first products and services on the Hungarian market and is rapidly growing as an urban-technology startup. Its main focus is the flagship Smart P2 dock that revolutionizes the way we park our bicycles.

Besides manufacturing its own street furniture products, BLOCK also undertakes the design and construction of B+R facilities and is an expert in 3D area survey and landscape design.
