Everything began with a crime
A bicycle got stolen. Like thousands do, every day all across the globe. But this one in particular belonged to a young boy who – 15 years later – became an engineer and swore to eradicate bicycle theft and to popularize urban cycling.

2018.
The first two prototypes of the BLOCK concept debuted at the DLD Tel Aviv startup festival. Later that year, the founders won several prestigious competitions, destining their innovative idea for commercialization.
2019.
In early 2019, the company was officially founded and the work to pilot test the first batch of the P2 docks began. From August to December, a beloved shopping center in Budapest hosted two P2 stations.
2020.
The pandemic halted initial market entry progress but the team spent quarantine months well, with further developing the IT infrastructure, notably the Admin Portal, to oversee operations.
2021.
The company left the startup stage and moved to its current building in the 22th District of Budapest, which functions as a combined office, manufacturing facility and showroom.
2022.
Along with B+R projects, the new version of the P2 dock and the BLOCK – Guards Your Ride App launched and the PIN access method was also developed and tested.
2023.
The first S1 station hit the streets and the team grew. A new VC investment fueled growth and accelerated the company towards international markets.
2024.
The G5 was introduced to the market and exciting new features were also added to the BLOCK – Guards Your Ride App.
